arterias iliacas de la pelvis por lo que la orden m\u00e9dica debe especificar ambas regiones anat\u00f3micas. \u00a0Cuando el paciente tiene demasiada placa calcificada en un estudio de CTA de piernas, al igual que en el coraz\u00f3n, precluye la evaluaci\u00f3n \u00f3ptima de las arterias. \u00a0La alternativa es un MRA realizado contraste basado en gadolinio con propiedades blood-pool agent llamado ABLAVAR. \u00a0Este contraste permanece en los vasos sangu\u00edneos por m\u00e1s tiempo que el gadolinio regular lo que representa una mejor oportunidad para evaluar \u00e1reas de estrechez en las arterias que con el gadolinio regular. \u00a0Seg\u00fan discutido previamente, los estudios de MRA no demuestra placas calcificadas por lo que no se ve afectado por calcificaciones como lo es el caso con
